Mia started her career as a veterinary technician 9 years ago in San Diego, CA. Her experience ranges from small animal general practice to equine medicine. Mia has an avidity for advanced surgical procedures and joined CORE in May of 2025. When she takes a break from the OR, Mia enjoys spending time with her horse and has a passion for endurance running.
Antonia is an experienced technician with 7 years of hands-on expertise in veterinary anesthesia and animal care. She is currently advancing her credentials by pursuing a CVT and Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Anesthesia and Analgesia. Outside of work, she enjoys life with her pets, who inspire her dedication to high quality veterinary care.

Sam, a skilled veterinary surgical and anesthesia expert, has spent decades ensuring seamless operations from routine to complex surgeries. Outside of work, she enjoys photographing birds and cheering for her son at baseball games, all while mentoring the next generation of anesthesia technicians and sharing her love of 90s hip hop with her team.
After graduating UMASS Amherst, Kara began working in the veterinary field and found her stride collaborating in surgery with a dynamic team. She is inspired by her team’s unwavering compassion and dedication to both patients and one another. Kara enjoys photography, exploring new places, and hiking with her loyal companion, Bowie.
A Veterinary Technology graduate of Becker College and C.V.T. James has been refining his skills in surgical anesthesia and sedation for over a decade. Patient safety continues to be his highest priority and passion. At home he specializes in dad jokes and puns, vinyl records, and caring for his cats and bonsai trees.
Charla’s lifelong love of animals, inspired by childhood adventures and lessons from her father, fuels her career at CORE, where she thrives on learning new skills and supporting pets and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys coffee shop laughs, cooking, pilates, and spontaneous food-filled adventures with her partner and two children.
Originally from Thailand, Nuchy began her career as a veterinary surgeon before moving to the U.S. with her husband. Nuchy loves the teamwork and positive energy at CORE and is passionate about creating a warm, happy experience for both clients and coworkers. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Kechia Davis graduated from Cornell University in 1999 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She practiced for 2 years in the San Francisco Bay Area before returning to academia in 2001 at North Carolina State University to complete a small animal rotating internship and small animal surgical residency. She became a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2007. She was on faculty at the University of Florida-Gainesville before relocating to the Greater Boston area. She practiced in the Greater Boston area for over 15 years before opening CORE. Dr. Davis lectures locally and nationally and has publications in major veterinary and surgical journals. She has also mentored interns and residents throughout her career to foster a new generation of skilled clinicians.
